Location:

 This position is a hybrid position, so there is an expectation to report to either our Philadelphia, PA, or Pottstown, PA office about two times per week or as needed.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to support our growing company. This full-time position may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision insurance, PTO, flextime, possibly telecommuting arrangements, 401(k) plan and employer match, etc. 

This role will be primarily responsible for the talent acquisition and onboarding of all new hires, including co-ops and interns, which will include career fair organization and attendance and assisting in managing all DEI Initiatives. This will require the individual to have a general understanding of our company history and services as well as some current projects we are working on. Another primary duty will be managing the professional development of all employees, including organizing trainings and facilitating TPD University. 

Duties/Responsibilities including but are not limited to:

Recruitment:

  • Team with HR and hiring managers to help them in defining, developing, and implementing recruiting strategies that match business needs. 
  • Develop, execute, and manage full cycle recruitment, onboarding, and related functions.
  • Design and guide recruitment strategies, processes, and procedures, including candidate selection practices.
  • Partner with Marketing for social media campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a trusted relationship with hiring managers at all levels, guiding them through the recruitment process and providing insights to select the best candidates.
  • Develop and manage outreach strategies with community-based organizations to establish the company’s presence in identified markets. 
  • Enhance candidate experience by creating and cultivating a streamlined process and leveraging technology.
  • Plan and attend career and college fairs and related events.
  • Design, plan, and execute employer recognition and branding activities in the recruiting space.
  • Manage employee referral programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local hiring laws.
  • Manage and supervise recruitment staff as the company and team grows. 

Employee Professional Development:

  • Manage TPD University and coordinate TPD-sponsored seminars, including technical seminars or employee relations seminars.
  • Gain a full understanding of PE licensing and relevant certification requirements in all states (PE, AICP, etc.) to be able to aid engineers in their own understanding. 
  • Oversee TPD’s professional development program.
  • Administer training to staff, including HR-related training and management/leadership training. 

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI Program):

  • Investigate and implement ways to improve recruitment and retention of diverse employees. 
  • Support the DEI Committee on the coordination of materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Provide support to the DEI Committee and assist on initiatives that align with the company's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in human resources or a related field.
  • Ten (10) plus years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment
  • SHRM-CP/PHR Certification preferred
  • Maintain quality control measures (2PI) by performing a quality check on own work.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work hybrid with the expectation to be in the office about 2x per week or as needed. 
  • Maintain customer service by being responsive in accordance with TPD policy. 
  • Perform such other duties that the supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary.
  • Performs duties that may be added by superiors and/or through discussions during annual reviews. 
  • Travel to other offices and colleges/universities – This could be as much as 10%-20% of the time.
