Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full-time mechanic to work out of our Westchester, NY (HPN) location. Mechanics are responsible for maintaining hangar equipment, turbo-prop and light jet aircraft and will perform other duties as assigned. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem solving and diverse mechanical skills. The position is non-exempt/hourly ($30 per hour) with possible overtime when available. Candidates must be flexible for first or second shift.

Requirements

• FAA A&P license (2 Years of experience preferred) 
• Valid US Driver’s License Clean Driving Record
• Valid passport without travel restrictions
• Must pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer
• Strength to lift 50lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train
• Required to maintain an adequate set of tools
• Must be willing to travel to various part of the Caribbean and the Northeast US for short periods of time
