SUMMARY: 

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) you will be responsible for short- and long-term forecasting, budgeting, and all financial analysis for the global organization. In addition, you will perform financial analysis, develop effective and timely financial reports for management and the Board of Directors, review actual results of operations relative to planned and forecasted results, develop business insights and recommendations, evaluate and monitor investment and cost saving opportunities, and review all financial and operational processes impacting reported results. You will also prepare monthly, quarterly, and full-year financial forecasts and support process improvement activities for the finance organization to provide better visibility and transparency of the financial results to leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company by influencing decisions through pricing, margin, and volume analysis and scenario modeling
  • Take a leading role to drive financial rigor and efficiency throughout the organization
  • Support development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting process
  • Own the short-term and long-term revenue, profit, and cash flow forecasts
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s products and solutions
  • Lead the company financial planning cycle, including the long-range financial plan, annual plan, and monthly/quarterly forecasts
  • Identify and measure revenue, cost, and efficiency opportunities
  • Establish and track KPI metrics that allow for a detailed understanding of the business’ performance
  • Prepare quarterly executive reporting and forecast updates for board meetings
  • Coordinate, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts and prepare reporting on actuals vs. budgeted results, including additional ad-hoc analysis
  • Establish credibility and positive relationships with key business partners within the organization
  • Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities to evaluate and structure contracts

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education, Experience, Knowledge: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 7 years of FP&A experience, preferably with fast growing companies
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Excellent business partnering skills, ability to lead cross-functional projects, and perform deep analytics to get to the root cause of the issues
  • Ability to build complex financial models
  • Experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP (Dynamics a plus)
  • Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to walk, reach, and use hands and fingers, to both handle and feel components
  • Must be able work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Daily repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms
  • Can routinely lift objects between 20-25 pounds
