A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .

• Providing excellent customer service by answering lots of questions, ensuring departments are well stocked and providing creative usage suggestions for items all through the center of the market.
• Reviewing the merchandising calendar you developed at least 13 weeks ago to ensure sales, labor & grosses are on target.
• Hiring, training, and scheduling your staff to create a collaborative, well informed and effective team.
• Writing orders and planning promotions for fun and fresh departments, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
• Demonstrating an attitude of service to your team by lending a hand and working cohesively.
• Maintaining the department so that it is clean, enticing and safe.
• Supporting and following all safety and security policies and our sustainability programs.
• Operating within the Company’s Core Values & Company Brand (don’t worry, we’ll tell you all about this).

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . . .

• You have extensive grocery experience.
• You have a super eye for merchandising, selling and crushing goals.
• You rock at customer service with patience, positivity and a cool under pressure attitude.
• You enjoy solving problems, and take on difficult challenges with a creative, refreshing and detailed eye.
• You show-up committed to manage effectively, lead by example and think on your feet.
• You communicate clearly, you listen attentively and you know how to build strong relationships.
• Your computer skills are great and you know your way comfortably around MS Office.
• You are flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. After all this is retail and we are open every day except for Christmas Day.
• You have the physical ability to lift and carry 50lbs (cases of spaghetti sauce are heavy), have excellent manual dexterity and can bend, stoop, twist, reach and stand for long periods of time.
