We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Warehouse Assistant, to work within our US Hub in Philadelphia. If you are looking to expand your skill set, and that also offers variety in your working day, the this role could be for you!

Warehouse Assistant’s deal with a variety of tasks and helps to ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse.

The role involves performing the daily warehousing activities which include the repair and maintenance of equipment, conduct regular stock takes and maintaining a clean warehouse, whilst ensuring adherence to Health and Safety to maintain order and safe conditions at all times.

Responsibilities:

Daily warehouse activities:

1. Goods In process

2. Goods out process

3. QC (quality checks) and commissioning of new equipment

4. Preparation and release of customer orders (temperature controlled)

Stock control

1. Report low stock levels

2. Maintain stock systems and keep up to date and accurate

3. Ensure stock is serviceable

4. Ensure Dataloggers are in calibration and in full working order

5. Ensure that all temperature chambers are in the specified temperature.

Health & Safety and security

1. Ensure that stock is safely stored

2. Ensure the warehouse is secure at all times

3. Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state

4. Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times

5. Ensure stock is clean and available for use

Equipment maintenance

1. Carry out planned maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment as advised

2. Perform routine checks of forklift and pump-trucks

3. Carry out basic repairs of container stock

· Be flexible to take on a variety of warehouse duties in a face-paced environment

Job Requirements

Education

· US high school diploma

Experience

· Previous proven experience of working in a Warehouse environmentAdditional Training

· Fork lift license
