Touchmark is Hiring an IT Technician Near Beaverton, OR

Touchmark, an award-winning developer, owner, and operator of full-service retirement communities in the western United States and Canada, is currently seeking an IT Technician to join the team at our central office in Beaverton, Oregon. In this role, you will serve as part of the team that provides technical support in a LAN/WAN environment to all of the employees at our central office and in each of our 13 retirement communities. The schedule for this position will primarily be regular business hours, Monday through Friday. However, due to varying projects and the need to support a 24/7 operation, the individual who fills this position should have some flexibility in their availability. Requirements: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide support for users in individual and group settings, both in person and on the telephone Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science, or a combination of education and relevant experience; Microsoft certifications a plus At least two years’ administrative experience in a Windows Server 2008/2012 environment, as well as experience working with MS Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange and Symantec Backup Exec; Adequate expertise with Microsoft Applications (Exchange, Office) to provide support for users Responsibilities: · Assemble, configure, test and debug computers and related hardware/equipment; · Set-up and install computers, related hardware and software, and related equipment/software upgrades; · Set-up and configure user accounts and permissions in various local and cloud services; · Support multiple Microsoft desktop operating systems; · Implement and maintain security hardware; · Maintain backups and server hardware; · Provide computer equipment, network and software application support to users, located at the Central Office and at the community campuses, onsite and by phone; · Customer service – user training and follow-up; · Customer service – troubleshooting and problem-solving.
