Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to, managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all open positions; coordinating and conducting a thorough orientation for new team members; tracking all benefits and employment status changes; management training; and managing workers' compensation and unemployment claims. One of your primary focuses will be active, ongoing recruitment of employees – experience utilizing social media and professional networking to fill open positions will give you a head start in this role! The ideal candidate will: Be committed to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork and integrity), and have a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and giversPossess a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or other related fieldHave at least three years’ experience in a human resources role, with duties that included high-volume staffing and recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and worker’s compensation administration in a return-to-work environmentHave a working knowledge of federal and Oregon state employment lawsUnderstand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalismBe proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipmentBe able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
