Description

Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in a dynamic firm? If so, we are seeking licensed Professional Land Surveyors who are looking for challenges and can provide their skill set and experience to our growing survey practice.

Toth and Associates (TOTH) Land Surveyors will lead projects and perform work related to all aspects of boundary surveying and topographic mapping in both field and office settings. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your competency with conventional surveying, digital terrain models, reality modeling, GPS processing, 3D data collection and processing, ALTA surveying and mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing land surveying for a wide range of projects (electric utility, civil projects, new site construction, and more)
  • Working with field survey crews and office technicians to develop a high-performing team
  • Creating relationships with clients and managing projects to meet schedule and budget goals
  • Collaborating with staff in multiple offices to accomplish complex, fast-paced projects
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Review work performed by survey technicians in AutoCAD
  • Implementing project specific Safety and Quality Control protocols
  • Establishes project goals and oversees the QA/QC process

Qualifications


TOTH will accept a range of experience levels with salary being predicated on experience and licensure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and a minimum of seven (7) years as a licensed surveyor in at least one of these states: Oregon, Washington, and/or Illinois;
  • Associates degree and a minimum of five (5) years as a licensed surveyor in at least one of these states: OR, WA, IL; or
  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of three (3) years as a licensed surveyor in at least one of these states: OR, WA, IL.

Required Experience

  • Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) OR, WA and/or IL
  • Three (3) plus years of progressively increasing responsible work experience in the field and/or office survey work
  • Three (3) plus years of project management experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, CAD-Earth Carlson, and Microsoft Office
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ALTAs, Boundary, Topographic and Construction surveying is required
  • Good managerial and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
