Material Handler
Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the Packaging and Shipping Team, responsible for Material Handling and Forklift expertise, with various components for bullet resistant barrier systems.
This is a full-time position based in our Fowlerville, MI headquarters.
Job Description
As a member of our Materials, Packaging and Shipping Team, you will be responsible for safely handling and crating bullet resistant glass, aluminum, steel, and wood products.
Required Skills
- Ability to drive a forklift and combilift
- Comfortable with computers and technology
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret measurements
- Ability to read and understand project drawings and blueprints to inspect appropriate elements
- Ability to meet deadlines and think on your feet
- Hard worker with multi-tasking ability
- Ability to follow instructions and pick things up quickly
- Initiative to learn new things and apply them to your trade
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
Related Experience
- 2 years general labor experience
- Able to drive a forklift
- Prior shop experience preferred
