We welcome you to joinTorus Biosystems as a Mechanical Engineer. We are building our core engineering team now. Our engineering lab is in Medford, Massachusetts, so it is expected that the successful candidate will commute to the office, but some days it’s cool to work remotely!
Your Role
Mechanical Engineer to interact with all aspects of our instrument and consumable manufacturing. For our new instruments, your primary role will involve development, manufacturing QC, instrument calibration, and workflow tools.
If you care about awesome documentation and understand the value of easy-to-CAM parts and 3D print prototypes to get an iteration done, then you will enjoy working on our team. Contributing to and guiding system documentation is expected, but so is collaboration with the science team to ideate and address issues
