Prospective applicants will have knowledge in several of the various building trades which include: electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry. Knowledge of and ability to operate miscellaneous hand tools, power tools and large equipment etc; good oral and written communication skills; good organizational skills; ability to work independently and multi-task; ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS products (Word and Excel) is preferred. Hourly rate is based on experience. This is a safety sensitive position and driving is required.

Duties include; Completing assigned maintenance repair tasks including but not limited to:

• Performs minor facility renovation/remodeling.
• Drywall repair – patching, painting
• Carpentry repair – doors, molding, furnishings, cabinets
• Plumbing repair – toilets, sinks, bathtub, shower, caulking
• Electrical including bulbs/ballast replacement, plumbing, painting and carpentry as required.
• Keep a log of maintenance performed
• Timely completion of work lists
• Repair mechanical equipment as directed

• Minimum 2 years experience in one of the trade areas listed
