Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor - Full-time day shift - From $22 an hour

Our Eastvale location is looking for Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor. Warehouse associate's work involves the skills of a forklift operator, order puller, picker, receiving, replenishment, inventory, and freight processor in a fast-paced distribution environment while following warehouse guidelines. The schedule available for this position is the day shift: Monday - Friday (8 a.m. to finish).

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising shipment processing tasks of an assigned work team by directing assigned associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of company's product in a manner consistent with speed emphasis and goal oriented. This includes leading the daily activities of pickers, loaders, processor and forklift drivers while ensuring the loading/unloading of all routes and transfer loads are completed according to plan. They will monitor the shipment workflow to ensure all planned shipments are shipped on time and assists in the building of loads and freight handling as necessary. They will serve as an example to subordinates and enforces all applicable safety rules.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the fulfillment team daily workflow.
• Oversees the work of a team that coordinates the movement of picked products, in process goods or completed shipments.
• Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels.
• Forecasts demand or predicts workload and workforce needs based on analysis of historical data.
• Maintains contact with vendors and submits purchase orders or requisitions in order to ensure a continuous supply of consumptions.
• Uses working knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.
• Responsible for department safety and training.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions.

• Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field.
• Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
• Provides direct or indirect supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
• Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
• Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years related experience required.
• Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work overtime.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
