Position: Machine Operator - Need Several Press Operators and Slitter Operators
Location: Orlando (Will give name and address of facility at in-person interview)Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour Depending on position & experience
Shift: 3rd Shift / 12-Hour Shifts - Note: 1st shift until completion of training

- Training Shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Regular Shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Schedule:
- 36-hour/48-hour rotation
- Rotating weekends (every-other weekend off)
- Candidates with open availability for any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime will receive priority when hiring
Qualifications:
- MUST Have @ Least 2 Year Prior Machine Operating Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean Background & Passing Drug Test

Position Summary: Slitter
No experience is needed as a Slitter but MUST have 2 years of Machine Operator Experience.
The Slitter operator is responsible for the safe set up and operation of the Slitting and Rewinding equipment within the department. Ensuring conformance to Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations, and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, quality, and efficiency requirements at all times.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Basic Duties and Tasks but not limited to:
- Review all documentation related to Product Quality (i.e. Winder Instructions, Schedules, Customer Order, Customer Concerns).
- Notify Supervisor if non-conforming material is produced.
- Ensure Product Quality conforms with Quality Audit Specifications.
- Responsible for maintaining production information reporting.
- Monitor and verify online critical instrument calibration.
- Responsible for inspection of the finished product.
- Set-up and Clean-up machine.
- Other assignments or tasks as needed.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- High school degree, GED, or equivalent.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred but not necessary.
- Work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, have good math and mechanical skills, get along with others, positive attitude, and are well organized.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- 2 Years Experience in Machine Operating
- Good Communication, organization, time management, and measurement skills

Press Operator:
Position Summary:
Position Summary:
- The position is responsible for mounting plates used in flexographic printing.
- Location: Orlando.
- Schedule: 3rd Shift - 7:00 PM-7:00 AM.
- Rotation of weekends.
- Pay rate $18.00 - $22.00 DOE.
Description:

- Operate printing press.
- Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.
- Responsible for print sample retention.
- Notifies Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities.
- Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work-in-process and/or finished products.
- Ensure raw materials have been approved for use.
- Ensure all bench top test and measuring equipment being used are properly calibrated.
- Identification and control of Non-conforming material.
- Set-up and Clean-up machine.
- Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety.
- Management System, including Employee.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate actions.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a press operator.
- High school degree.
- GED, or equivalent.
- Color matching accuracy.
- Numerical accuracy.
- Organizational skills are a must.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Mathematical skills are a must, able to equate decimals and percentages.
- Analytical and problem-solving.
- An understanding of various industry color measurement instruments.
