JOB PURPOSE The role of this position is to train customers, perform product demonstrations, and support sales with technical support for 3D Modeling, Job Site Services, Construction Layout Services, Site work design services. Responsibilities: Work with Topcon customers in the field to teach and train on hardware and software products. Classroom training at Topcon Solutions Store for a group of 6-8 people on various hardware and software products. Phone support troubleshooting field problems with customers. May assist with training Topcon Sales employees on hardware, software, and workflow for Topcon products. Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills, speaking/presentation ability, and positive, professional persona and appearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Field surveying experience desirable. Topcon 3D Exchange, Topcon Pocket 3D, Magnet Office, Magnet Collage, and other related software products knowledge is a plus. machine control, mmGPS, LPS, as well as GPS and Robotic systems for surveying and layout hardware knowledge is a plus. Some experience with Autodesk programs: Civil 3D, Point Layout, Navisworks, BIM 360 Education & Experience A BS/BA or another technical degree, or equivalent experience with the Construction Job Site Services Products Physical Requirements Must be able to withstand the rigors of teaching a class for 6-8 hours in a day, for multiple days in a row. Ability to travel by airline or car to remote areas to provide training. Able to lift 40 lbs. Able to walk on rugged job sites. Working Conditions Working conditions typically 50% of the time is indoors with a PC or in a classroom. 50% outdoor job site duties
