Summary The Supplier Development Engineer will support production and suppliers in all supplier related topics in electronics, PCB, PCBAs. Responsibilities Provide support for all CMs and electronic suppliers for new and existing products. This involves PPAP activities, supplier audits, root cause and corrective actions, meeting with suppliers on a weekly basis, holding quality meetings with cross functional teams. Provide support to Production, ME and Planners with all topics related to electronic, PCB and PCBA suppliers. Address purges, line stoppages, containments, dispositions, etc. Promote an effective link between all line related issues and the respective suppliers. Sales activities at national and international events with independent discretion for customer interaction. Work with Product Management and Quality to identify root cause issues of products. Deliver email and phone support to end users, channel network and internal Topcon teams by assessing issues and resolving them. Qualifications Degree in EE or another related degree. 5 years of experience in a supplier quality role. 3 years experience with PCBA, PCB. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have experience with suppliers such as contract manufacturers and in a manufacturing environment.
