We are excitedly looking for a positive, inquisitive HR Generalist, who loves streamlining processes and problem-solving. Someone who will partner with the HR Director to ensure that HR operates efficiently and smoothly as directed. In addition, our HR Generalist will support managers regarding HR matters and a few office tasks. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, must have excellent attention to detail, is able to work independently with little or no supervision, and enjoy the challenges of supporting the company of diverse people. Someone who enjoys going home knowing they put their best foot forward and made a difference by supporting a company and its people. Duties/Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Coordinates new hire orientation that covers IT, HR, Training, and Concur orientations. Conduct HR orientation to include company overview, HRIS Systems, and benefits guide. Ensure all necessary new hire documentation is completed and uploaded to employee files. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Assist with yearly bonus and merit increase process Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Coordinate employee recognition programs and community service drives for in-office and remote employees. Create monthly reports for leadership team utilizing Excel and Workday Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned. Management of summer intern program File EEO and AAP reports Create and administer company-wide engagement surveys Assist with Immigration process Assist with Performance Evaluation Programs Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with Workday Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 3-5 year of human resource management experience preferred.
