The hours of this position are 7:00am - 3:30pm with large amounts of overtime available.
We are looking for a manufacturing engineer with a CNC skillset to assist us with an exciting new product line involving CNC milling for the semi-conductor industry. This position will report directly to the owners of the company. Please apply and we will conduct an interview which will consist of a full tour of the facility to really understand the role.
Tomenson Machine Works has over 50 pieces of MAZAK CNC equipment. Most of which feature automation capabilities.
This role will mainly be focused on helping us grow and optimize our processes surrounding this new product line. The primary material you will be working with is Aluminum 6061.
Experience with CNC programming and set up is required.
Degrees are not required.
Mazatrol experience is a plus.
3 2 machining experience is a plus.
Develop Manufacturing Processes
Support manufacturing and troubleshoot and solve manufacturing problems
Improve efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process
Define, specify and procure tooling required to manufacture products.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and written specifications
Development of procedures and work instructions
Participate/create the APQP process and documentation.
Actively participate in MRB to review rejected parts
Create CNC Programs
Requirements
Quality control experience in manufacturing
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
Written Communication Skills
Presentation Skills
Experience with CAD program
Strong Math Skills
Blueprint reading
Manufacturing mindset of urgency and quality.
Understanding of a ISO quality system
Ability to successfully anticipate issues or challenges without being specifically directed
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Ability to maintain the highest degree of strict confidentiality of corporate information.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Machine and manufacturing processes knowledge
