JOB TITLE: Accounting Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Director of Finance
FLSA STATUS: Hourly
Position Summary: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of Finance with accounting tasks across the Center and maintains accurate records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage Accounting Operations:

Fundamental Skills: The Bookkeeper must be skilled at record-keeping and interacting with clients and customers. A good candidate for this role should have the following skill:

Travel and Standard Work Schedule: Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is sometimes responsible for working hours outside of the standard work schedule. Some travel may be required.

Special Requirements: Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to work with a moderate noise level in the work environment is required.
