Customer Relations RepresentativeWe are presenting the opportunity for a Customer Relations Representative role in our NEW Carmel, IN office and will report to the Operations Supervisor.
The Customer Relations Representative Role is very essential to the success of the work we do. There are many responsibilities that come along with this position, some of which include supporting the Global Response Center by answering all medical referral, benefits, and claims questions. Some more examples include inbound verbal and written communications to the beneficiary and providers while utilizing the world class customer service that we take pride in being known for. It is important to recognize that the person who takes on this role needs to be reliable and dependable. With a new location in Carmel, IN, we are providing an exciting opportunity to be part of our team as they enter a new office space in a great location!
Performance Objectives:As you consider this role, we want to be open and clear about what your performance objectives will be and what is expected of someone taking on this position. We have created a timeframe with the hope that those applying understand there is a lot of the opportunity for progression.
30 Days- Gain an understanding of the Customer Relations Representative Process: During this time establish knowledge on company systems, protocols and processes required to successfully answer referral, benefits, and claims calls. We provide the necessary training to be successful in this position, and the duration of this training is dependent on the individual.
90 Days- Manage inbound phone inquiries: During the first 90 days, be able to handle all inbound phone calls and assist customers and providers with understanding their medical benefits and the claims process and status.
6 Months- Assist customers & providers: During the first 6 months employees should be proficient in all inbound customer and provider inquiries with minimal supervision. This includes, but is not limited to, phone inquiries, email communications and chat conversations with members.
Position Knowledge & Requirements:Education High School diploma or equivalent
Experience Experience in travel and hospitality industry, insurance claims processing, or foreign language skills are encouraged, but not required.
Insurance and medical knowledge are not required and will be trained on but is preferred.
