This position receives and reviews maintenance notifications, initiates work orders and passes emergency work to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for planning the preventive maintenance work orders, developing outage schedules, forecasting maintenance work orders, tools, manpower, and required parts.

• Maintain D365 and Dynaway mobile interface maintenance module (data entry, producing reports, etc.)
• Initiate and review work orders to ensure completeness and proper authorization.
• Prioritize work orders for completion.
• Maintain, review, and schedule daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance program.
• Plan and develop detailed schedules, personnel assignments, equipment needs and replacement parts requirements for planned maintenance outages prior to scheduled date so that all planned corrections are successfully completed.
• Communicate and work with production departments for scheduling work.
• Confer with department supervisors daily to determine status of assigned projects.
• Follows up on schedule delays and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare maintenance reports word order completion.
• Prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment for each work order.
• Prepare purchase requisitions to obtain materials, tools, and equipment in a timely fashion so they are available when needed for project completion.
• Provide fill-in supervisor coverage for Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide performance evaluation input and recommendations as to the job performance of maintenance and instrument technicians.
• Work as team member to review and suggest critical parts recommended to be carried in Storeroom inventory or ordered as needed.
• Work closely with Manager to ensure maintenance needs are addressed for new capital deployment.
