About the Position

This position is responsible for the supervision of part-time staff associates and the daily activities required to operate at TOCA’s standard of service. This individual must thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and possess the ability to effectively communicate with and oversee a diverse population of employees.

Responsibilities:

Employee Management:

  • Promptly assign duties to all Associates to meet the daily needs of the facility and ensure task completion.
  • Oversee Associates in all areas of the facility to ensure 100% guest satisfaction, and to maintain a safe environment in accordance with TOCA’s policies and procedures.
  • Coach, counsel and discipline Associates in order to accomplish department objectives and ensure compliance with TOCA’s policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the initiative and commitment to communication and teamwork to ensure optimal guest service at all times.
  • Provides quality customer service both internally and externally by using discretion and enforcing company service standards at all times.

Programming:

  • Able to communicate TOCA programming information to guests with a high degree of knowledge and accuracy when escalated by an Associate.
  • Resolve operations problems (Scheduling, Reservations & Enrollment in programs) in a skillful, expedient manner.
  • Aide in the execution of special events and programs.

Maintenance and Safety:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by knowing and carrying out emergency procedures including follow-up documentation and reporting on injuries to guests or employees.
  • Reports all maintenance requests to the General Manager in a timely manner.

Accounting and Finance:

  • Responsible for distributing all cash drawers, deposits and safe monies to Associates.
  • Daily documentation of sales reports including, but not limited to, cover reports, flash sales summary reports, utilization reports, food and beverage reports, over/short reports
  • Required to complete daily audit reports to the facility’s General Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned

All above areas are responsible for..

  • Providing excellent guest services by enthusiastically servicing Guests while performing a multitude of diverse tasks, being thorough, accurate and prompt when responding to Guest inquiries and when necessary directing the individual to the appropriate Associate
  • Demonstrating the initiative and commitment to communication and teamwork to assure optimal Guest Service
  • Adhering to First Aid and emergency guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to all OSHA Safety Standards and be alert and communicate safety / security problems to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.
  • Adhering to manufacturers specifications when using equipment or materials in order to assure no risk to self, fellow Associates or Guests
  • Maintaining TOCA Naperville housekeeping standards for all areas of the facility including; lobby, seating, restrooms, meeting spaces, fields, player benches and offices
  • Periodically, efficiently performing clerical activities
  • Maintaining a professional and organized demeanor when dealing with both internal and external Guests
  • Providing services as required for special events, tournaments and competitions
  • Performing various tasks as necessitated by Guest Service or facility requirements
  • Adhering to all TOCA policies and procedures
  • Communicate with guests on inquiries into the soccer training methodology and technology

  • Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment where required to deal with a variety of individuals and personalities
  • Able to work a flexible schedule consisting of varying days and hours (including weekends, holidays and nights)
