About the Role

Given our expanding growth plans, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be an integral member of our dynamic and collaborative People and Culture team. You will proactively partner with the People & Culture Manager based in Sydney or Melbourne (Boronia) to recruit blue collared rolesAn excellent workplace culture, with employee benefits including flexible work, market competitive salaries, regular reviews, birthday leave, and many more.

This position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne (Boronia) – Australia, reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer and is for a 12 - month fixed term contract.

(High Potential for Extension).

Key responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Sourcing local and international candidates using a variety of channels to recruit blue collared shop floor roles (Assemblers- Mechanical, Accessories and Electrical, Store persons, Fabricators)
  • Providing support and advise to our People & Culture team on end to end recruitment
  • Managing the candidate experience including expectations throughout the recruitment process so they have a pleasant experience

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Work Experience:

  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in Talent Acquisition for roles regionally / internationally
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of roles in a Technical / Manufacturing Industry
  • You’re a tech savvy recruiter - which means that you're on the forefront when it comes to using various technologies to help you out with recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting a range of positions (office support roles, manufacturing roles, engineering roles)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills – able to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Highly competent in the use of general business software.
  • Time management skills.
