Information Security Analyst

Carrollton, TX

The TMX Finance® Family of Companies is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team and provide administration and oversight of our enterprise security technologies. You will become an integral part in advancing the security program by configuring, deploying, and managing various security applications, monitoring and alerting security threats and developing remedies to resolve issues. You will make key recommendations on processes and technology related to solutions and improvements to protect the Company from security weaknesses, in turn, protecting the people we serve.

Responsibilities

• Support security initiatives related to various hardware/software products, such as mobile and web applications.
• Report on vulnerabilities and defects and provide recommendations to stakeholders for resolutions.
• Respond to service issues, problems, crises, and critical situations to support resolution.
• Provide services and support across a diverse range of business applications, while adhering to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with regulatory standard.
• Develop technical solutions to address security weaknesses.
• Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.
• Modify computer security files to incorporate new software, correct errors, or change individual access status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field
• Must be analytical and able to analyze complex information, synthesize disparate data sources, and present results effectively to management level groups
• Work independently and make decisions regarding complex issues with appropriate consultation of peers, cross-functional teams, and supervisors
• Highly developed planning, time management, leadership and organizational skills
• High degree of technical proficiency and familiarity with software, system, and network issues in a large enterprise environment
• Experience working with risk management tools and solutions
• High standards of personal integrity and willing to undergo vetting and/or personality assessments to verify this if necessary
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
