We are currently seeking a collaborative, results oriented professional to join our Accounting/Admin team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist; this is a remote position. At TLR we believe in doing anything to become the most loved and trusted provider of international services and finding team members that will help foster that vision is paramount to our success.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Performing account reconciliations and monitoring the account details of customers.
• Collecting revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments; notifying customers accordingly.
• Resolving account discrepancies by investigating documentation; processing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
• Generating and sending out invoices.
• Researching and resolving payment errors.
• Reviewing the status of accounts and generating analysis on age.
• Examining and solving customer queries and complaints.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Assisting with monthly closing and preparing statistics and metrics.
• Supervising and tracking accounts, write-offs, and reversals
• Evaluate efficiency opportunities across the organization as needed
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience with reconciliations and journal entries, variance analyzes, and reporting
• GAAP knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (emphasis on Excel)
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Exceptional time management and accuracy to meet deadlines
• Must have excellent work habits; be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; internal and external clients
• Ability to work under stress and problem solve
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work unsupervised to get results
