Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Director of Revenue Cycle is to:

  • Oversight of all Business Office Functions for SNF and AL Locations in Indiana and Florida;
  • Billing and collection of all private and 3rd party payers; including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, VA, Hospice, Supplemental Policies and Private Pay;
  • Oversight of Medicad Pending Accounts on active patients;
  • Oversight of Resident Trust Systems, including timely reconcilitation and reuired statements;
  • Supervise and train all Regional Field Accountants and Billing Staff
  • Oversite and manage updating of PCC Software

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must possess specific educational and experience requirements such as:
      • A minimum of 7 years expereience in Long Term Care Billing;
      • 3-5 years of Supervisory Experience Overseeing Billing and Collection;
      • A high school diploma or GED; &
  • Have a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care billing practices;
  • Must possess managerial and interpersonal skills such as:
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions, function independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;
  • Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with visitors, government agencies and personnel;
  • The ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel;
  • Judgment in prioritizing the performance of tasks, duties and responsibilities in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures;
  • The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Compliance and HIPAA;
  • Team Leader, Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a problem solver;
  • The ability to adhere to professional code of ethics;
  • A passion for accuracy;
  • Knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word, Excel and Pointe Click Care;
  • The ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours and the ability to work before or after hours as needed.
  • Desired qualifications include:
    • An Associates Degree or higher in a Business, Accounting or related field.
