Objective: Our successful candidate will be responsible for helping select product for our design center, supporting sales with initial concept drawings, working with residential and commercial clients on interior finishes, space layout & design. Ideally the candidate will have drafting capabilities. Additionally they will support our team in documenting all selections through the use of Builder Trend.

Reports to: Sales and Design Manager

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Full interior design
  • 3-D rendering tools : Auto Cad/Revit
  • Chief Architect Design software
  • Builder Trend
  • Microsoft Office suite

What you will do:

  • Full interior design (75-80% residential, 20-25% commercial)
  • Collaborate on design process
  • Direct all selections and client finishes, fixtures, lighting
  • Support other designers
  • Create and deliver presentations to clients
  • Travel for on-site design and coordination meetings as needed

What we look for:

  • Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, AIA, CID, NCIDQ or equivalent accreditation a plus
  • 5 years of design experience minimum
  • Interior finishes, space layout & design (not furnishings)
  • Proficient in the use of Revit and other 3-D rendering tools. Preferably experience in the use of Chief Architect
  • Experienced in residential remodel projects
  • Some experience with commercial projects, specifically workplace
  • Drafting is a bonus
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience in design for middle to higher end homes
  • Ability to instill confidence in clients

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Salary $60,000 - $80,000.00 depending on experience
