Titan Machinery is Hiring a Human Resources Administrator Near Fargo, ND

Overview

This position provides HR process support to the Titan Machinery Human Resources team. It also leads projects that improve and optimize HR administrative processes and systems and supports initiatives that drive the success of the Titan Machinery HR Team with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

This position is a great fit for your career if you:

  • Accurately process and maintain employee data/information in multiple systems and processes:
    • Data entry for personnel transactions such as new hire, termination, leave of absence, benefits, FMLA etc.
  • Maintain accurate employment records, including selection process data/AAP tracking, benefits, performance, and compensation
  • Administer and organize the HR onboarding process for new employees
  • Manage and process all HR-related paperwork, including offer letters, new hire paperwork, employment and benefits transactions, and exit interview information.
  • Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity
  • Assist employees with questions related to HR, payroll, and benefits.
  • Manage process and/or system improvement projects in a timely, accurate, and confidential matter.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation related to HR processes and Standard Operation Procedures and compliance documentation, and train HR team members as needed on changes or new processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison internally between Business HR, HRIS Admin, Payroll, Benefits, and Safety groups to help streamline operational effectiveness within the HR team.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of leave administration, including coordinating Leave policy and administration between Business HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Conduct data analysis as needed to identify trends and suggest improvements to ensure optimal HR team performance
  • Act as a subject matter expert across HR process areas and maintain working knowledge of compliance and external issues that impact HR process.
  • Perform routine administrative functions such as copying, faxing, filing, sorting incoming mail and arranging for overnight mailings.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years of related HR experience and/or related military experience, or related education/training (degree, certificate, etc)
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation
  • Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflict
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
  • Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis and work flexible hours

  • Strong computer skills; Intermediate working knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; working knowledge of Microsoft Access; ability to quickly learn new systems
