Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve complicated hardware and software issues
• Research technical solutions and provide guidance to team members for successful implementation
• Analyze user’s requests, requirements documents, and use cases to develop a monitoring design strategy and apply specific monitoring tools that achieve the desired results
• Transform customer inputs and feedback into concept visualizations leveraging agile methodologies to develop and deliver iterative designs and enhance or streamline existing monitoring designs
• As required: Instrument fully the design as solutioned with the selected authorized toolset

Qualifications

• Experience and understand the relationship between applications, operating systems, hardware and software
• Must have experience in creating a network architecture that takes all factors of a network into consideration such as functional requirements, technical considerations, business processes and end users
• Must have experience in creating a wide variety of IT system architectures that are beneficial and can be implemented
• Must have experience in total system design including networks
• Experience in hybrid architecture solutions (on-premises and cloud)
• Ability to design/implement integrations solutions for hybrid architectures
• Experience in documenting/diagramming architecture solutions

• Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of Splunk architecture/components

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required and 5 years of experience
• Additional eight (8) years of experience can be substituted for education (13 years total)

Clearance: 

• The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

• Potential for telework 3 days/week after 90 days onsite
