Overview

The Angular Developer shall closely work with Advanced Provider Screening (APS) team on the redesign of APS application. As an integral part of the Advanced Provider Screening (APS) team, the UI Developer will interact with the Engineering, Analytics, and Requirements teams to ensure best in class UI deisgn solutions of the APS application. A successful candidate will possess highly focused analytical and troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex ideas and interact effectively with other APS Team members.

Responsibilities

• Building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Designing and developing user interfaces using angular best practices
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Perform development in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and third-party libraries or frameworks
• Maintain and manage a cohesive front-end framework to make updates and add features to the UI
• Develop test cases for cross browser testing and unit test the front-end code.
• Research, prototype and advise on new front-end technologies and tools as we evolve our platform tech stack
• Strong Visualization and eye for great end-user intuitive framework

Qualifications

• 4 plus years of experience with UI/UX Development
• Hands-on experience with Angular
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, DOM, SVG, Canvas
• Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Strong understanding of Angular and other prominent front-end libraries such as jQuery and D3
• Knowledge of image authoring tools and prototyping tools are added advantage.
• Proficient with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Understanding of code version control tools especially GIT
• Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) is a plus
