Timberline is Hiring a Lift Operator Near Government Camp, OR

Description

Must pass Level 1 Operator Exam, proven proficiency in all lift stations attendant has worked more than three shifts. Attendant has worked as a Lift Attendant for no less than 30 days. Must have satisfactory attendance and work performance. Operate chairlift, load and unload guests, snow maintenance at top and bottom lift terminals, check tickets and season passes, housekeeping, assisting guests however possible. 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Check tickets and season passes, maintain maze control and assist guests.
  • Maintain excellent snow surfaces on ramps and terminal areas.
  • Maintain Lift Logs and complete any Lift Incident reports.
  • Maintain clean lift terminals and terminal areas.
  • Shovel snow
  • Independently open and close lift stations.
  • Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
  • Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent guest service skills.
  • Must have sufficient reading/writing skills. 
  • Must be able to make immediate and appropriate decisions.
  • Must successfully complete written and verbal proficiency testing.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Must be able to work outside for 8 hrs. or more in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to shovel all types of snow in all weather conditions on daily basis.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to handle repetitive movements. 
  • Must be able to move quickly and with agility.
  • Must be able to walk, ski or snowboard to and from work stations.
  • Must be 18 yr. or older.
