TigerConnect is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! As the AR Specialist you bring a general knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable expertise. You will oversee and manage the accounts receivable daily operations and strategic objectives of TigerConnect’s SaaS business including: invoicing, cash application, collections, customer relationships, AR aging, and various accounts receivable schedules and reconciliations. This role will work closely and collaborate with the accounting, finance, sales, and operations teams. You will be tasked with continuing to improve and scale the accounts receivable department as TigerConnect continues to grow as a company.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage day-to-day billing and collections functions ensuring all activity is processed accurately and timely
• Attain collection goals determined by manager and team
• Prepare weekly AR Aging and key metrics reporting for management
• Oversee the timely recording of cash and proper application within the system
• Accurately and timely process credit memos, chargebacks, and any invoice modifications
• Ensuring proper tax collection on all invoices and/or obtaining and reviewing validity of tax exemption certificates
• Prepare write-off recommendations for bad debt provision
• Prepare documentation and/or analysis to support external audit requests
• Ensure data integrity within Salesforce and understand operational impact to billing and revenue
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve client disputes and follow through to satisfactory resolution
• Identify and implement other efficient processes and resourcing across the accounts receivable department to achieve the best outcomes for the company’s financial metrics
• Assist Sr Accounting Manager and team with all ad-hoc projects as needed

What You Bring:

• 2 years of accounting experience, predominantly in accounts receivable or billing
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible team-player, and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to exhibit poise, composure, and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
• Intermediate knowledge and skills within Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
• General knowledge of revenue recognition principles preferred but not a requirement
