The Talent Acquisition Lead is a vital position working closely with senior leadership and TicketManager offices nationwide. They will work with our team to build a culture of service, fun and growth. They will help us recruit and retain the best staff in the game and will work with the team on our internal and external events.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, well organized, and flexible professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats and playing an integral part in a high-growth business.

Key to success in the role will be enabling short- and long-term strategic objectives by recruiting, developing, and retaining a team by partnering with our many talent channels. People are everything to our team and the Talent Acquisition Lead plays an integral part in our success.

Reporting into the Head of Business & People Operations, you will be responsible for assisting in strategic direction, subject matter expertise, as well as execution of program initiatives to support and sustain a high performance, innovative and entrepreneurial culture of TicketManager.

Designed for an experienced leader who has expertise in sourcing and hiring top talent in sales, customer success, marketing, product, engineering, and other business roles. The candidate has implemented processes to keep everyone performing at their best and aligned to the mission of the company.

The ideal candidate is highly tactical and data-oriented around sourcing candidates through a combination of lead generation sources and leveraging company networks and has a track record of culture-building at fast growth technology companies.

Responsibilities: 

    • Lead our talent acquisition functions to meet the goals of a fast-growing business
    • Own the sourcing, vetting, interview, and negotiation/hiring process
    • Serve as an integral part of the People Operations team by assisting in execution of strategic initiatives, logistics planning, and candidate management
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and business partners throughout the interview journey.
    • Deliver high quality work and demonstrate operational excellence through utilization of recruiting tools and resources; share insight and make recommendations on operational improvements in the hiring process; and ensure quality and integrity of metrics through discipline in process
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
    • Manage the job posting process working closely with the Pops team
    • Contact, schedule, and coordinate with candidates regarding interview and schedules and update candidates in applicant tracking system
    • Create and distribute candidate offer letters and oversee background checks
    • Work independently as well as in team environment
    • Subject matter expert on all facets of the recruitment process, serving as an advisor, coach, mentor to hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates.
    • Provide administration support to the People Operations team
    • Keep up with latest talent recruitment/retention innovations, trends, news, insights and competitive intel
    • Manage our presence at Career Fairs nationwide
    • Aide in the management and provide support and back up duties to the Business & People Operations Coordinator
    • Partner closely with leadership to develop an integrated approach to talent initiatives such as hiring, career mobility, succession planning and ongoing development
    • Continuously explore ways for TicketManager and the TicketManager team to be more groundbreaking in the world of People Operations while striving for efficiency, effectiveness, and performance

Desired Skills and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 1-3 years of work experience in people operations or talent management /acquisition
    • Full life-cycle recruiting experience – sourcing, screening, interview and selection, offer, etc.
    • A people person who likes working with people! Negotiating, influencing, and dealing effectively with people 
    • Previous organizational development, people ops, employee relations, organizational communication, talent recruiting and event planning experience preferred 
    • High personal integrity, ethics, and credibility 
    • Strong communication, organizational, computer (MS Office), and research skills 
    • Proven ability to work with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside clients/vendors/partners
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Self-Motivated person who wants to take ownership and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment 
    • Expertise with standard corporate software, talent management, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
