Thyme & Season Natural Market is Hiring a Remote Marketing Coordinator

Purpose: To create and manage social media, marketing, and advertising for all stores in a professional, organized manner in an effort to grow our social media presence and strengthen the brand. To manage the loyalty program by creating coupons, sales, and newsletters for loyalty members and inspire continued and increasing loyalty to the stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing

  • Manage the brand in a professional manner, expressing the “voice” of the business through relevant themes.
  • Work with department managers regularly to create, distribute, and post: promo, loyalty, and local signage.
  • Design and order banners for store use as needed, ensuring they are put up properly.
  • Create content with appropriate color palettes and ensure brand consistency.

Social Media

  • Create at least 1 Facebook and Instagram post each day for all stores, selecting unique themes to post about.
  • Create weekly kitchen related posts and stories as needed to promote daily menu or unique offerings.
  • Create at least 1 Facebook and Instagram story each day for each store to inspire customer action and maintain our presence to followers.
  • Respond to customer comments in a timely fashion, referencing store associates for unfamiliar information.
  • Create and post 3 Instagram reels a week for each store, utilizing store spaces, employees, and products to make exciting, thought provoking content.
  • Monitor social media account activity and growth monthly. Report all findings to owners and general management.

Advertising

  • Field all prospective advertising offers, presenting anything promising to owners and store managers.
  • Manage advertising projects that are approved, ensuring they have been completed as promised and analyzing the results of the project following its completion.
  • Work with local businesses for each store, encouraging cross promotions and ad trading to cut marketing costs and have a stronger presence in the community.

Loyalty

  • Meet with store management and owners to determine loyalty promos in advance. Plan rollout and factor coupons into the budget.
  • Create and manage loyalty coupons and promotions by ensuring they are working as intended and are scheduled properly.
  • Create and send out a monthly newsletter for loyalty members that includes new product info, events, featured brands, store donations, sales, and more.
  • Communicate properly with managers and cashier staff about any loyalty changes.
  • Generate and distribute loyalty guidelines and procedures for staff use, using clear, concise verbiage.
  • Troubleshoot loyalty issues as they occur, working with the POS company to fix any external issues.
  • Monitor loyalty data; generate coupon reports, customer count increases, sign ups, and other factors. Keep management and owners in the know about loyalty related data.

Websites

  • Maintain and update both store websites to stay relevant in regards to other marketing and/or store changes.
  • Capture photos of the stores, food, and staff for use on web pages.
  • Work with the web development team to make any UX or UI updates as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced in social media patterns and platforms, current events, design.
  • Ability to multitask and complete projects simultaneously.
  • Able to keep to a schedule and meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Understand and retain directions.
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and understand: reports, emails, policies, procedures, equipment operations, notes.
  • Excellent communication skills, whether it be verbal, notes, or emails.
  • Ability to use problem solving skills to work autonomously, make judgment calls, and use data or circumstance to evaluate and solve a problem.
  • Work in a cooperative manner with all coworkers.
  • Maintain composure under any circumstance.
  • Give clear instructions and training, while also exhibiting strong listening and interpersonal skills.
