We are engineers at heart, we love numbers, and we justify what we design. However, we understand that major initiatives take time. We are Design to Deploy focused and leverage an Adaptive approach to implement relevant solutions that allow our clients to adapt quickly. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Client Driven – Understand the client success is our only measure of project success - Strong Analytical Skills – Understand how and what to analyze, ability to adapt to data challenges, results evaluation skills, strong analysis tool skills (i.e. Excel, Access, SQl, Tableau, LLamasoft, etc.) - Drawing Competency – Ability to use AutoCAD efficiently to develop complex shop drawings covering material handling equipment, process flows, site plans, general construction, tenant improvements and automation to identify issues and accuracy as an integrated plan. - Core Engineering Capabilities – ability to develop basic process flows, gather observational data, refine solution options, apply lean concepts, apply 5S concepts and other advanced techniques as appropriate to project scope - Operations Competency – Competency evaluating operational performance, identifying process gaps, developing alternative options and strategies, developing business cases for change, and managing recommended change in operations - 1 to 5 years-experience in operations (Manufacturing, distribution, or material handling) design including operations improvement, slotting, material flow path, material handling selection and CAD based layouts. - Confident, professional, personable, passionate, and positive towards the client, the project team, vendors, and support staff. We do not expect perfection, just everyone’s best effort and attitude. - Solid communication and client relationship skills – we are open, communicate daily and are building relationships that last beyond contracts. - Self-motivation – direction – Ability to clearly understand specific project tasks and execute to plan with limited interaction from supervision. - Previous external consulting experience is a plus, but not required. - Creativity – Ability to think on your feet, learn new skills and apply creative thinking to problem solving in dynamic, fast moving situations. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a leading university in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related business major. Advanced degrees and certifications are welcome. - Willing and able to travel 60-80% for extended periods of time based on project location, remote when not travelingMAKE YOUR MOVE
The compensation for this role is related to the candidates, experience, capabilities, and organizational fit and include a competitive base salary, and performance bonus package and benefits.
