ThrivePoint High School is seeking a secondary English teacher who will be responsible for providing a high quality education in a technology-based education system ensuring that each student has the knowledge and skills to complete high school. The teacher is able to apply best practices and strategies in teaching to support student success by al means that are necessary, appropriate and available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and implement instructional plans to actively engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Provide timely, constructive, and personalized feedback on student assignment submissions.
• Establish and maintain good communication with parents; inform parents of student progress and school activities.
• Evaluates each student's performance and growth in knowledge and understanding.
• Participate in professional development and other meetings when scheduled.
• Strives to maintain and improve professional competence by keeping up to date with developments in subject area.
• Responds to student, parents and colleagues in a timely manner.
• Provide communication to students and parents through a variety of tools: phone, messaging, text messaging and emails.

• Position requires a B.A./B.S. degree.
• Valid Arizona Secondary Education Teaching Certificate.
• SEI endorsement
• Applicants must also possess a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Applicants must live in Arizona

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
