ACCESS Los Angeles is looking for an Inventory Assistant
ACCESS LA is one of the largest, most advanced, and progressive veterinary multi-specialty referral groups in So Cal. We routinely perform cutting-edge and lifesaving procedures in a state of the art facility.

What we expect from you:*Secondary point of contact to order inventory for single ACCESS hospital, utilizing Just-in-Time method of ordering  *Enjoy being a key player on a dynamic team providing the highest standard of patient care

*Responsible for receipt, unpacking, distribution throughout hospital, of all deliveries related to inventory

*Maintain organization of areas where inventory is stocked

*Coordinate shipment of items to and from ACCESS LA

*Ensure that all items listed on packing slips, correspond correctly to ordered items, and received items

*Perform regular inventory audits and counts of inventory items

*Minimize waste of inventory drugs due to expiration by executing FIFO (First In First Out) protocol in place

*Regularly review expired medications and report to Inventory Manager

*Track inventory that moves throughout the hospital

*Collaborate with pharmacy staff and equipment supervisor

*Understand nuances of relationship between EzyVet and Smartflow to be able to troubleshoot issues, handle all updates with respect to inventory and product codes between programs, and address on site questions

*Responsible for stocking individual departments, and promptly assessing and responding to requests 

*Responsible for upholding the spirit of ACCESS by handling all necessary tasks that require attention
