Thrive Pediatric Therapy is Hiring a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Near Grandville, MI

Thrive Pediatric Therapy is a multi-disciplinary pediatric private practice in Grandville, MI. Thrive prides itself on providing individualized therapy for the pediatric population. Thrive is looking for another speech-language pathologist to join the team starting late August 2023.

Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited speech therapy program, be licensed in the State of Michigan, have ASHA certification (CCC’S), and be CPR certified (or ability to obtain this certification before starting). Pediatric feeding therapy experience is required for this position to support the type of caseload and population we serve. The applicant should have a strong knowledge base and comfort level in working with pediatric clients with neurodevelopmental and sensory disorders affecting speech, language and feeding, such as individuals diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome. Play-based and floortime methods are highly encouraged. Thrive is unable to support a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for this position.

The clinician will be responsible for completing comprehensive speech and language evaluations with administration of standardized and informal assessments, as well as create and implement individualized treatment plans specific to each child and their family. Strong organizational and time management skills will be crucial to this position as daily documentation is completed for every client seen.
