Fargo, ND
Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a out a Human Resource Generalist based out of Fargo, ND to provide coordination, implementation, and administrative support services to ensure effectiveness of human resource needs at our Central Sites facility and surrounding stores. Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources.
Some of the major responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation for all Fargo hourly positions;
  • Manages the recruiting plan for the Fargo Market, including but not limited to, attending career fairs, partnering with staffing agencies, active recruiting in the community, etc. Continually assesses the plan based on hiring needs and market changes;
  • Drives employee engagement across the market; 
  • Helps analyze exit interview data to identify patterns and areas of concern. Helps create and implement changes as needed;
  • Provides human resource leadership, direction, and training to the Fargo operations team. Continuously develops and mentors the Central Sites supervisors.
  • Acts as point person for all HR related issues or questions. Works directly with the Director of Human Resources for elevated employee relations issues;
  • Ensures timely store and employee task completion, including 90 day and annual appraisal completions;
  • Processes payroll for all of Central Sites employees;
  • Manges the name badge program for all employees;
  • Maintains and manages security badge access for Central Site employees;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required;
  • A minimum of two years professional experience in human resource support functions is preferred;
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and understand and carry out written and oral instruction.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge. 
  • Knowledge of recordkeeping and reporting procedures. 
  • Utilizing general office equipment such as: copier, fax machine, printers.
  • Skill in preparing accurate and complete reports.
  • Principles and practices of supervision and personnel management. 
  • Ability to operate our computerized management information and electronic document tracking systems. 
  • Good attendance is required to do this job.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with all personality types.
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees and supervisors.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays if needed on occasion.
  • Ability to travel overnight on occasion.
