Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a human service agency supporting people with disabilities, is actively seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to people using computer software and hardware within the organization.
Job Duties:
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems
- Install and configure software and computer systems
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity
- Provide assistance and support to end-users in a courteous manner. Support issues may include hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, other end-user devices or software programs.
- Record, track and document all help desk requests by creating IT tickets using ticket-tracking software. Documentation must include all pertinent end-user identification information including name, department, contact information and the nature of the problem/issue.
- Track and update the status of each ticket as he/she successfully assists each user with issues. Documentation must include all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken through the final resolution.
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. These are great work hours with paid Holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is required; Bachelor Degree preferred
- ITIL Certification preferred but not required
- Valid PA Driver's License
- PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
- Pre-employment drug screen
- PA Criminal History Clearance
