We’re seeking a Product Analyst to assist in our design of innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. You will be working alongside some of the best software developers and product managers in healthcare technology. Our ideal candidates are highly motivated self-starters: those who can hit the ground running and quickly get up to speed with our solutions, our technology, and the Medicare Care Management domain; those who extol the value of Agile Software Development (Scrum, epic/user story-based requirements, test-driven development, continuous integration); those who innovate through strong situational analysis, problem resolution skills and the assertiveness to think outside the box.

General Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for developing strong functional business knowledge and technical understanding of ThoroughCare products, technology platforms, operations and servicing to assist in the delivery of healthcare solutions 
  • Have the ability to write user stories and contribute to the overall work in the team(s) sprint(s)
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve project goals and provide continued best practice support to leaders to ensure successful adoption of the ThoroughCare applications/features from a product perspective
  • Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations for delivery issues, change requests, pre-release QA, production issues
  • Monitor industry assessment that provides detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices
  • Advocate the market needs of the platform, product line teams, and key stakeholders throughout the development process, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original guidelines and standards set forth by the healthcare industry.
  • Understand the balance between business functionality and technical requirements, ensuring that ThoroughCare’s product suite will be able to support customer needs both now and as our customer base grows.
  • Contribute to an environment of cross-functional teamwork within the organization's agile-based project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate leadership in understanding and defining business systems requirements, project objectives, and deliverables. from an analysts’ perspective
  • Perform other duties as requested and assigned

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of experience in product management, business analysis or technology system analyst roles
  • Demonstrated experience working in a software development environment, including:
    • Demonstrated ability to elicit, define, clarify and organize business/system requirements
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle, and software development methodologies, including waterfall and Agile models (Agile strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical, requirements management and decision-making skills. Experience working in the healthcare management industry or within a software company providing solutions to healthcare clients strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to flourish under pressure and get the job done with attention to detail and within deadlines
  • Ability to influence decision making and communicate ideas to cross functional teams and all levels of management
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a service-oriented attitude in a team environment. 
  • Experience working in Agile based product and software development environments
  • Must have excellent knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio or equivalent software
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Software testing experience preferred.
  • Experience with issue tracking/project management tools (e.g. Jira) a plus 
  • Travel to client sites may be required
