Thompson Pump is Hiring a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE II Near Port Orange, FL
- Meet the requirements of Warehouse Associate I.
- Process shipping and receiving orders through Navision.
- Process shipments through third part freight and ground carriers.
- Package shipments plus receive and unpack material.
- Verify shipping and receiving shipments for order accuracy.
- Process international shipments.
- Assemble and process work orders.
- Pull production kits and stage product organized and neat.
- Identify damaged items and rectify through proper channels.
- Understand Navision at an advanced level.
- High school diploma is required.
- Requires one to two years’ experience with computerized warehouse management systems.
- 1 to 3 years experience in warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality standards or other/similar quality system management is highly desired.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, detailed correspondence and memos. Ability to write detailed correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate and interpret financial measures such as percentages, margins, ratios and other comparative statistics.
- Must be able to interpret graphs and other visual representations used to present data.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to read and understand various service manuals, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
