Located near the beach in sunny North Carolina, my client is looking for an on-site Electronics Technician. This rapidly growing company offers excellent room for growth and the opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge laser technology. You will be supporting and collaborating with a team working with laser enrichment technology to produce carbon-free nuclear fuel. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement, construction, installation, maintenance and documentation of prototype electronics and electrical equipment. The Electronics Technician will be focusing on the instrumentation, diagnostics, and control systems for the various company projects focusing on assembly, installation, and commissioning. Qualifications:

• Active DOE/NRC Q-clearance or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 2-year degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical field

• Hands-on experience working in industrial power, diagnostics, and control applications preferred * Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematic drawings and circuit/wiring programs
