This position requires a person with an outgoing, friendly personality who is detail-oriented. Empathetic personalities along with strong organizational skills are a must.
The front desk associate will be collecting patient co-pays including the processing authorizations on credit card payments and posting charges and payments in the computer. The front office associate will be scheduling appointments for the patients' returning visit. They will also review the posted procedures to ensuring correct coding for insurance billing. Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes is preferred.
3 to 5 years experience in medical front desk check-out or medical coding and billing.
