Thermon is Hiring an ERP Functional Analyst Near Austin, TX

The Role

As an ERP Functional Analyst, you will make an impact in our company by acting as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) in core Microsoft ERP systems such as Microsoft AX2012 and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with a strong focus on financial functions. The analyst in this role will have knowledge of Stock to Dock, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash. The analyst in this role will also serve as a partner to the business in areas such as supply chain, production, order management, inventory and purchasing modules, and will participate in project coordination efforts to provide improvements on critical enterprise-wide information systems. This role will engage in end-to-end functional analysis, testing and delivery of state of art system functionality, system modifications, handling of existing day-to-day operations of IT systems including but not limited to problem analysis and issue resolutions.

What You Will Do

  • Act as an in-house information systems expert and primary technical point-of-contact for internal ERP systems
  • Analyze current business processes and assist users in making best use of systems.
  • Work with other members of the Business Systems team to help evaluate data and processes, trouble-shooting systems and incorporating solutions as required
  • Participate and support in the implementation of business and software solutions within a particular module/business area
  • Perform post-implementation review analysis
  • Partner with business managers and users to identify business requirements, ensure compliance and effectiveness of current and future systems
  • Evaluate and determine information needs not currently met by existing software or systems for the end user
  • Develop strategies to improve timeliness of information delivery and overall efficiency
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend system process improvement opportunities
  • Accountable for quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of an assigned project
  • business processes requiring information security integration
  • Support the design and execution of security exercises
  • Ensure security policies are aligned with other governing policies
  • Stay current on IT security trends and news
  • Participate on Thermon's Cyber Security Risk Committee

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in Microsoft AX2012 R3, additional 365 Experience beneficial
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline, or a combination of equivalent work experience preferred
  • Completed at least one full life cycle implementation of AX 2012 / Microsoft D365
  • Experience on upgrading from AX to D365 would be an added advantage
  • Able to understand the user requirements and be able to configure the system independently for various system options across the above-listed modules to achieve the desired results
  • Provide Design, Test, Support, and Training as required during the course of the projects
  • Knowledge on Inventory Management, Procurement, Production, Planning, Projects, and Advance Warehouse management modules would be an added advantage
