Job Summary:

Responsible for effectively managing a team to support daily financial operations including analyzing financial information to timely and accurately record accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, and cash receipts activities in accordance with GAAP; manage the month-end closing process and consolidations to ensure timely financial reporting for stakeholder review. Assist in the development of product cost standards including labor and overhead rate calculations and absorption reporting. Support the development of annual master budget and manage actuals versus budget and variance reporting for management review. This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily financial operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and banking activities
• Manage team to complete month-end closing process for timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Monitor and analyze ERP process controls and recommend improvements for best practices adherence
• Analyze and maintain labor and overhead rates with Controller to support accurate product costing
• Assist Controller with the development and implementation of accurate product cost standards
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to maintain cashflow efficiencies
• Ensure tax filing obligations are completed accurately and timely
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Complete consolidating activities for the month-end closing process
• Assist Controller in the development of annual master budget and manage monthly reporting to department managers for effective oversight of controllable costs
• Oversee development and reporting of CAPEX spending and provide explanations on actuals versus project budgets
• Provide ad hoc reporting to department managers as needed to support financial and operational KPI achievements
• Manage team to support annual year-end audit engagement ensuring timely completion of PBC request list and appropriate follow-up as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must demonstrate the ability to manage a team of direct reports
• Must be able to work effectively and collaborate with department managers
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and adhere to deadlines

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in manufacturing space required
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems required
• MS Office experience is required with advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
