How you will make an impact:

The shipping and receiving technician is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. This individual will process and deliver all external and internal shipments following established standard operating procedures while staying aligned with all DOT / IATA regulations.

What you will do:

• Daily shipping and receiving of customer packages and shipments.
• Daily deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout customer site.
• Working with end user community to coordinate shipments and deliveries.
• Communicates with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.
• Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
• Maintain Shipping and Receiving packing materials.
• Daily use of manual pallet jacks and lifters.
• Strong attention to detail in daily site safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How you will get here:

• Requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent(GED)
• College degree preferred, but not required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of dynamic proven experience required.
• Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred.
• Experience in GLP/GMP environment a plus.
• Phenomenal customer service skills.
• DOT / IATA certification a plus.
