About The Role:

Senior Data Analysts support the Customer Success team by conducting data analysis requirements workshops with clients to understand their current data platforms, data structures, and data complexities and provide guidance to clients to facilitate the transfer of client data to secure Thentia environments. Senior Data Analysts will leverage data analysis tools and data management techniques to ensure client data is properly mapped from client legacy platforms to Thentia’s target platform, once data is received from clients. Senior Data Analysts will also be involved in shaping the Data Management team’s overall process evolution and contributing data management process improvement ideas as Thentia looks to build the Data Management team.

The Senior Data Analyst should have a thorough understanding of data management, data visualization, and knowledge of data migration tools and processes to succeed in this role. Understanding licensing processes and procedures is extremely beneficial to this role.

Taking a product-oriented approach, you will assist the client by becoming a subject matter expert of our product’s features and functions and how they relate to various data structures and data tables.

Responsibilities:

• Independently map data from legacy to target platform accurately and with speed
• Identify tools and processes that will enable efficiency in data mapping and movement
• Collaborate with client subject-matter experts to understand and meet the regulatory requirements of the organization
• Gain a firm knowledge of the portals, features, processes, and capabilities of Thentia Cloud to assist the client through the product delivery

• Communicate and create visual representations of our data structures
• Plan and facilitate data movement and collaborate with the project team and the client for their identified projects
• Document all mapping information in the appropriate tools for traceability
• Identify and lead the resolution of data-related issues; devise effective ways of reaching project objectives in the most cost/time-effective manner while taking into account unique business conditions for the client
• Provide data-driven insights and analytical support in solving strategic and operational problems

• Be responsible for the successful data transformation and loading of all client data. into Thentia’s platform while advising Thentia’s development team to execute data loading activities
• Work with QA to ensure they are able to conduct thorough testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years professional experience within the Data Analysis discipline
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead and facilitate client-facing data discussions
• Experience working with data management and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python, Tableau, Qlik, Datorama)

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., Pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
• Knowledge and experience with agile work environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work well with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience with task scheduling and resource allocation

Assets:

• Knowledge of regulatory processes and working experience with the regulatory industry
• Familiarity with the Office 365 suite
• Project Management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Daptiv, Wrike, Basecamp)
