Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting functions, including but not limited to, double entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and financial accounting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow analysis and interpretation of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide support for decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Conduct research on accounting issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on accounting principles and practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in general accounting roles, with a strong understanding of accrual accounting principles.
- Proficient in financial report writing and interpretation.
- Knowledge of wills, trusts, estate law, and private equity is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
