Our Engineering Company (Troyer Group) is recruiting for an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer located in our Fort Wayne, Indiana office . 

The OSP Engineer will be experienced with creating broadband network engineered prints for field construction crews to build facilities that serve both residential and commercial customers. The Engineer will be expected to meet with customers, municipalities, and contract partners in the field to resolve issues both minor and major in complexity. The Engineer will spend a fair amount of time outdoors and in varying weather conditions and must be capable of traversing uneven terrain. The Engineer will demonstrate strong attention to detail, have a desire to learn and grow within a team, and be focused on providing quality deliverables in a positive but urgent environment.

Requirements

Experience/Degree Required: BS Engineering or Technology (any discipline); 3-10 years of experience.

Skills Required:

• Planning and engineering fiber/copper/hybrid broadband network builds such as FTTx and DSLAM solutions, residential and commercial fiber networks, and utility relocations
• Creating construction prints using ESRI-based mapping and spatial tools such as Google Earth, 3GIS, ArcGIS, and/or using CAD tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Microsoft Office tools
