The Tool & Gage House has an immediate opening for a Quality Torque Technician on the off-shift. The off-shift position will cover four 10-hour days working Monday through Thursday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The torque technician is responsible for providing quality assurance support in the areas of torque calibration, torque auditing, tool repairs, and maintenance. Some of the duties of the torque technician are (but are not limited to):
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
Good arithmetic skills are required
Mechanical aptitude desired
1 years of Quality Control experience is preferred
Working knowledge of measurement instruments: i.e., calipers, OD micrometers, ID micrometers, etc.
General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS
Qualified candidates will have advanced knowledge or experience with impulse, DC, click, and direct drive torque equipment and other various torque equipment.
